I chose to depict the Garden Room after learning that Frank Lloyd Wright would hold salon-style gatherings and music appreciation nights there. As a space, it encapsulates the design philosophy and materials of Taliesin West. The first time I was there, I was captivated by the sloped ceiling with horizontal lines, the unique stone and wood work, and the unusual window layout. The room is a visual feast that lends itself to a fine art print.
